Higher Doctorate

A higher doctorate is an award which is granted by a provider on the basis of a substantial and internationally recognised original contribution to knowledge or creative achievement. This work is not the result of supervised independent study.

Student enrolment and unit of study data are not reported in the student submission for a student who has applied for a higher doctorate. However where the award of higher doctorate is granted to a student, the completion can be reported in the past course completions submission.
