15. What should you do if there is a FEE‑HELP remission reported during the verification period?

If you identify that a student’s debt needs to be remitted due to special circumstance then this remission would be reported using HEPCAT. When your data has been accepted by HEIMS you will need to go into the HEIMS Online verification reports and refresh your data. The next day your reports will reflect that the remission has been reported. The details of the remission will only appear in your FEE‑HELP Detailed Report.
