- If providers are unable to equate the levels used above to those used in their organisation then alternative codes 150, 160, 165, 170 (Academic staff) should be used.
- Professional clinicians should be reported using an "Academic" staff classification.
- If a suitable classification description is not available from the above list, then a salary range for each staff member should be provided using Element 588 PIR.
